I recently built a 16×26 detached garage. By the time the footers and digging was in, rebar around and these chairs – took almost a week to get concrete coordinated. In the meantime we had several storms dumping 4-6 inches of rain over 3 instances. I was out with a pump draining my nearly full 2′ footers of water for what seemed like eternity. Walking all over the rebar in these chairs and they withstood it all without any breakage. Highly recommend these for a similar project.

While building our deck, the engineer called for #5 rebar in our 18x18x16 footers. These chairs made the installation so simple and easy. This is the only chair I could find to hold a #5. I wish these were in the stores as well as online. All the other chairs in the store were for #3 or #4. I did not need to tie the rebar and the rebar just popped in the slots. Plus it was also easy to readjust while the rebar was in the chair. I was able to build 15 9×9 pattern frames for the footers in about an hour. The rebar cutting took longer. I am very happy with the product.
